Father And Sons Campout, Etc.

This past week Jeremiah had his friend Izzie over for the day. Izzie's mom wasn't feeling too hot, so we got a full day of older kid fun! Jeremiah loves it when he gets to play with Izzie because she teaches him such fun ways to play with things! Like building forts our of couch cushions!!! :) This was their creation:

Another favorite past-time is finding every pillow in the house, throwing them down the stairs and making a pillow fort. It keeps him entertained for at least twenty minutes. There is something in this picture that doesn't belong... can you guess what it is?
Yes, when I put Jeremiah down for his nap he wasn't in the mood for sleeping, but was keenly interested in paying under the baby crib. So I gave him a blanket, said goodnight and left the room. A few minutes later he had climbed out, gathered the rest of his blankets and stuffed animals and gone back under the crib for a nice nap. Unfortunately when he did end up waking up he was a bit disoriented so he was crankier than usual. Luckily it hasn't happened since.
Greg took Jerem on the father and sons campout this weekend. Here are the pictures they came back with:
Panning for gold: some of the men had a good time, sorry, no pictures of Greg, he was behind the camera the whole time.
This was Jeremiah "panning for Gold: he came home talking about rocks... now I know what he was trying to tell me about.

Notice what Jeremiah's pants looked like at the beginning of his adventures at the creek. Then came the throwing of the rocks into the creek, Greg said this was his favorite activity of the morning.

Notice Jeremiah's lovely pants? Now a bit darker shade of brown. :) They are soaking right now, I'm trying to save them from permanent staining.
