Getting into mischief

Jeremiah and Dad got to play with his big-boy toy that he got from his great uncle Todd. Jerem LOVES the lights and the songs that it plays.

Jeremiah is "crawling" all over the place now. He scoots on his tummy more than crawls, which means the front of his clothes are always dirty at the end of the day. But I find him everywhere; In the kitchen playing with measuring spoons, in the bathroom playing with his bath toys and the scale, and once he was sticking his legs through the bars on his crib while he was playing in his room... the next thing I know it he is asleep all wrapped up in his blanket with his legs still stuck through his crib.

April Showers

Jeremiah and Ashton went out to explore the grass the other day. They're become much more accustom to the texture of it on their legs. Sometimes I think they are a little too comfortable with the outdoors... when they stick everything and anything they find in their mouths. But that's just what kids do. The following are pictures I took of Jeremiah out in the yard. I was trying to be artistic, but it wasn't really working. I think they are cute photos anyway.

The Hirschi family is doing great. Jeremiah is growing fast and is becoming so much fun to play with. I have been keeping busy with Jerem and with other projects. Right now I am helping my neighboor refinish her dining table and chairs. They look really great. I'm also making a quilt for Amber as her wedding present. I never knew how time consuming it was.... but I know now! :) It's a lot of fun to make and it will be great to say that I've actually make a quilt. Greg has been traveling a lot this month. He went to New York for a week and then just this past week he was in Miami for a conference for four days. We're very glad to have him home with us and now that the weather has warmed up we're going to start going camping on the weekends!! It's the perfect time to start enjoying all of the camping equipment we've gotten as gifts. We are so excited.

Bigger and Stronger Jeremiah

Jeremiah rolls over and sits up now. He loves playing with the yarn on our quilt, and LOVES the camera.

Jeremiah eats ice cream now (compliments of Greg)
*Shown here: Mint Chocolate Chip

Jeremiah takes his baths sitting up now, and loves to splash!

Jeremiah has a best friend, Ashton Price, our next door neighboor. They get together and play. Most of the time is spent scratching each others faces.
He has recently discovered the new toy that Grandma and Grandpa Curzon bought him for Christmas. He loves it!

I apologize for taking so long to get a new post up on the blog. I hope you are all doing well. Jeremiah is getting bigger and stronger every day and we love playing with him. He has 4 teeth now, two on the bottom and two on the top. He is about 20 lbs (we think) and about 29.5 inches long. Time to get a new car seat!!

Jeremiah's First meal of solid food

Hurray! Jeremiah is finally eating solid food. It has taken him a while to get the hang of swallowing without sucking, but he's getting there. Also, I found a tooth! So he wasn't just being cranky for no reason! :)

Dad gave Jerem a can of our food storage to play with and he LOVED it. It kept him occupied for about 30 minutes. Crazy!

Christmas with Jeremiah

We spent Christmas in Utah with Greg's family. These are some pictures from our trip. We all got new pajamas to wear on Christmas eve, and Jeremiah loved his. He didn't care much about his presents, he liked chewing on them more than anything. He got some great toys from family and is already enjoying them.

Las Vegas Bowl Baby!!!!

Greg and I left Jeremiah with Grandma in Paragunah and went down to the Las Vegas Bowl where BYU was playing University of Oregon. We went with Dad Hirschi, Janae, Bryan and Greg's best friend Nate. Our seats were on the fifth row and it was great to be so close to all the action. Unfortunately I don't think we made enough noise to get on ESPN. There was an Oregon fan in line who was yelling for a BYU girl to drink a beer with him, he said that was his goal of coming to the game. I told him I was from Oregon and I was sorry to tell him that he was going to leave sorely dissapointed. And he DID! 38 to 8 and BYU blew Oregon out of the water. Everyone stormed the field and Greg and Bryan had a great time meeting some of the players.
This was the view from our seats. It was GREAT!
Yay! We Won!

Family Pictures

We decided it was about time we had some family photos. These were taken by our friend Annie and they turned out great. Merry Christmas!

November pictures

Jeremiah helped me decorate the Christmas tree the other day. He loved feeling the branches and looking at the lights and decorations. This year I will be making Jeremiah's christmas stocking. If anyone has any suggestions for what it should look like, please pass them along. :)
At Thanksgiving Aunt Angela played with Jeremiah. He was grabbing toys out of his toy basket. Later he fell asleep on her shoulder and snuggled with her until we put him in his bed.
Jeremiah took a nap one morning with Dad. He doesn't do it very often, but he loves sleeping on our soft mattress. It's much more comfortable, I'm sure, than his crib mattress.

I just thought this picture was cute. :)

This was Jeremiah's first time in the snow. I took him outside so that he could feel it falling on his face. I don't think he knew what was going on, but it was fun anyway.

More pictures of Jeremiah that I took of him just before we went to pick Dad up from work.
Jeremiah is now about five and a half months old and learning new things every day. He loves playing with his toys, and reading books. He's getting much better at sleeping through the night. Now I get to sleep from 8:30 pm to 5:30 am, and then go back to sleep until 8:00 am when we get to take dad to work. I love it!
