Mom's Photo Shoot

Not too bad for a photographer with no experience, no skill, and a shaky hand? Oh, and this is the first smile we've been able to catch on film!

Jeremiah's Blessing

From the Left, Grandpa Hirschi, Uncle Jordan, Uncle Karson, Jeremiah, Daddy, Uncle Nate, and Grandpa Curzon
We had a great picnic at the park on Saturday afternoon after everyone arrived.
The whole group.
These are the three Hirschi grandchildren. Trevin, Jeremiah, and Braden (sorry if it's misspelled). They had to tell Braden to fold his arms in order for his to sit still.

Jeremiah Pictures

These are pictures Grandpa Curzon took of him during his first week.
He isn't always as happy as we would like him to be.

But he sure is cute.

He likes his baths a lot more now that he can be submerged in the water.
These are pictures of Jeremiah's first bath.
Diaper changing has become a common occurance in our house.

Jeremiah took his first bottle from daddy. At least we know he'll eat from a bottle!

Is he not the cutest thing you've ever seen?

We experienced a spit-up-explosion! All over his face, and all over mom!

Jeremiah's Birth

I was admitted to the hospital at about 5:00 PM and Jeremiah was born at 9:02 PM.
This is child #1
This is Jeremiah's first photograph.
Greg got to be the first to hold Jeremiah. I felt pretty jelous because I did all the work and while he was enjoying the moment I has to lay on the bed and be stitched up!
Of course, I got my turn.
This is Jeremiah in my recovery room, hanging out with Dad. He looks so small next to Greg.
Jeremiah was admitted to the NICU after he was born for overnight observation, but was later discharged on Saturday evening. While we were both in the hospital our family members were at our house packing and cleaning. They were such a blessing during a very stressful time. We left the hospital and arrived at our home in Boise at 2:00 AM on Sunday morning. It was the longest 7 hours of my life!

Heather's Pregnancy

April, 2006
6 months pregnant with Jeremiah

May, 2006
7 months pregnant with Jeremiah

June 28, 2006
8 months pregnant with Jeremiah and on my way to the hospital.

That day was a crazy one. I had my last day of work that afternoon and Greg and I stopped at Walmart to pick up more packing tape and miscellaneous things for the move. We had two days until we were to be out of our apartment and we still had all our packing and cleaning left to do. We were both hoping and praying that they would take a look at me and tell me to go home and relax... little did we know that we would be having Jeremiah later that evening.
