Welcome to Jeremiah's First Birthday Party!
Since Jeremiah didn't even notice, we invited OUR friends over for a picnic, but it was so hot that we moved our picnic inside.
MOM fed Jeremiah watermelon. 
DAD fed Jeremiah Root Beer - He didn't like it.

Then came the cake......... Okay, so its not fancy, but it tastes good!
This is when the sugar coma kicked in.... I took the rest of the cake away, even though it would have been fun to see how much he could eat.
After a nap he was happy as could be.
Jeremiah weighs 21 pounds now, and is 29 1/2 inches long. He's still just below average for his age. He can take a few steps on his own now, though he still prefers crawling, or holding on to something. His new favorite thing is taking out all my pots and pans and making a lot of noise in the kitchen.

I'm jealous, i want to eat cake the size of my torso.
Heather -- those are awesome cake pictures!!! I was telling Aubrey that cake pictures on the first day are my favorite part of the whole party!! He dug in pretty good didn't he?
